Abstract
Observations have shown that the uterus is the main organ of the reproductive system, and its endometrium and myometrium undergo age-related morphological and morphometric changes. These changes are important in understanding physiological and pathophysiological conditions, in assessing reproductive health. The endometrial floor consists of two layers, the following functional and basal. The functional layer changes with the menstrual cycle, while the basal layer is responsible for endometrial regeneration.
