Аннотация
This article examines Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT) and its impact on student engagement in the process of learning English as a foreign language. TBLT is considered one of the most effective learner-centered approaches that promotes active participation, meaningful communication, and practical language use. The study highlights how task-based activities enhance students’ motivation, interaction, and overall engagement in the classroom. Furthermore, the paper discusses the role of teachers in designing appropriate tasks and creating a supportive learning environment. The findings suggest that TBLT significantly contributes to improving students’ communicative competence and engagement levels.
