Abstract
This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the economic necessity for establishing the Association of Banks of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the stages of its formation and legal foundations. Special attention is given to the role of the Association in the transition to a market economy, particularly in coordinating the activities of commercial banks, strengthening interbank cooperation, and developing a unified strategic approach within the banking system.
