Abstract
Language is not only a means of communication but also a fundamental tool through which people perceive the world, construct knowledge, and shape their identity. The relationship between language, thought, and identity has been widely discussed in linguistics, psychology, and sociology. This article examines how language influences cognitive processes and how it contributes to the formation of individual and collective identity. The study analyzes theoretical perspectives and scholarly literature to understand the role of linguistic structures in shaping perception and cultural belonging. The findings show that language influences patterns of thinking, social interaction, and identity construction.
