This research paper provides a comprehensive analysis of the vital role that English verb tenses play in ensuring clear, accurate, and professional communication. In the globalized world where English acts as a lingua franca, the precision of time reference is not merely a grammatical requirement but a functional necessity for effective interaction. The study explores the psychological barriers learners face when applying complex tense structures in spontaneous speech and evaluates various pedagogical strategies to overcome these hurdles. By examining the relationship between grammatical mastery and speaker confidence, the article highlights how a balanced focus on both accuracy and fluency leads to superior linguistic competence.
