This paper discusses the significant role of cultural awareness in teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL). It explains how cultural knowledge enhances language learning, improves communicative competence, and helps learners interact effectively in real-life situations. The article also examines methods of integrating cultural content into EFL classrooms and addresses challenges faced by teachers in multicultural education environments.
