This article is devoted to the study of lexical stylistic devices in the English language, namely oxymoron, hyperbole, antonomasia, zeugma, and pun. The paper explores their linguistic nature, structural особенности, and stylistic functions in both literary and everyday discourse. Special emphasis is placed on their role in enhancing expressiveness, emotional impact, and semantic depth. The article also provides detailed examples and analysis, demonstrating how these devices contribute to the richness and flexibility of the English language.
